Department of Geography at the Singapore Geospatial Festival 2024 Opening Ceremony

On the 15th of October, The Department of Geography attended the opening ceremony of the Singapore Geospatial Festival 2024 (SLA), to promote several Applied GIS programmes (MSc in Applied GIS, Graduate Certificate in Applied GIS, and Professional Certificate in Applied GIS) and present two student projects from GE3238- GIS Design Practices which was taught by Dr. Wei Luo, to working professionals of geospatial related sectors, including SLA Chairman, Mr. Yeoh Oon Jin.

A special thank you to Group 3 from GE3238 (Chen Qun, Dion Lim Zhen Peng (not present), Letasha Lim, Lim Pey Wen Selina, Victoria Wong Shay Chi) for presenting their project poster on “Examining the Cooling Effect of Green Spaces & Water Bodies in Mitigating Urban Heat in Singapore”, and Group 7 (Adrian Goh, Lu Yan Yang, Phua Anson, Tan Jing Xue Andre)​ for their poster on “Network Analysis of Traffic Accidents in Singapore”.
